Milan Design Week 2025 – Dedar Presents Weaving Anni Albers
In collaboration with the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation, Dedar has introduced a new collection inspired by the legendary artist’s textile work.
Faithful to Albers’ artistic vision yet enhanced by modern production techniques, five iconic fabrics have been meticulously reissued and reinterpreted. The collection was unveiled at the Torre Velasca, an emblem of Italian modernist architecture, strengthening the dialogue between past and present.

Dedar Fabrics in the Vitra Home Selection
Dedar’s fabrics now feature in Vitra’s Home Selection, enriching the seating range with a variety of Dedar motifs, velvets, and textures in bold and versatile color palettes.
At Matter & Shape, the Paris design fair held March 1–4, French designer Julie Richoz created an installation for Vitra, showcasing iconic Jean Prouvé pieces — Fauteuil Direction and Fauteuil de Salon — upholstered in Dedar’s Tiger Mountain, Voulez-vous, A Perfect Flower, and Karandash fabrics.

Dedar Milano has announced the acquisition of Mariaflora, an Italian company founded in 2015 and known for its high-performance outdoor textiles that blend elegance and durability.
Specializing in fabrics for demanding environments such as marine use, Mariaflora brings craftsmanship, local production, and full textile process control to the Dedar universe. This strategic move reinforces Dedar’s position in technical and indoor-outdoor fabrics, expanding its offerings with complementary expertise.
