Paris Design Week 2025: Creativity in the Service of Sustainability

An Edition Marked by Abundance

From September 4 to 13, 2025, Paris pulsed with the rhythm of the 15th edition of Paris Design Week, organized in parallel with the Maison & Objet fair. More than 375 venues – galleries, showrooms, and cultural institutions – had opened their doors, confirming the capital as one of the world’s epicenters of design and creativity.
This edition was described as “abundant”: a profusion of creativity where established houses, emerging talents, and master artisans intersected, in an effervescence that testified to the vitality of the Parisian scene.

When Design Engaged with the City

The uniqueness of this 2025 edition lay in the way design invested the urban space. Far from being confined to traditional fairs, exhibitions spread into emblematic venues such as the Hôtel de la Marine, the Maison de Victor Hugo, and the Institut du Monde Arabe, as well as into more confidential addresses, revealing treasures of architecture and heritage.
Each exhibition offered a true narrative: immersive scenographies, material-focused presentations, and a dialogue between tradition and innovation. A fertile ground for questioning the place of design in our contemporary lifestyles.
